SARAJEVO, March 31 (FENA) – Collegium of the House of Representatives of the Parliament of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina met in Sarajevo today, Speaker of the House Mirsad Zaimović confirmed for FENA.

In consultation with the members of the Collegium, he decided to ask the Crisis Staff of the Sarajevo Canton to amend the measure banning gatherings of more than 20 people, related to the FBiH and State Parliaments, so that these parliaments could meet individually and make decisions regarding their future functioning in the new circumstances of the coronavirus epidemic.

In that case, the House of Representatives would amend the Rules of Procedure in such a way that sessions of that level could be held electronically in the future, and he would also declare a set of measures to mitigate the economic consequences of the current situation.

According to Zaimović's statement, after today's session of the Collegium, he also decided to contact the FBiH Crisis Staff to assess whether the Youth Center at the Skenderija Center in Sarajevo is an appropriate space in which a House of Representatives session could be held, in accordance with the prescribed measures and rules.

Zaimović expects FBiH Crisis Staff to respond swiftly in order for the session of the House of Representatives, scheduled for today, to be held.
