ZENICA, March 31 (FENA) - Testing at the Clinical Center in Sarajevo confirmed three cases of COVID-19 infection in Kakanj, a girl who was undergoing treatment at the Heart Center - Bayer Medical Institute in Tuzla, and to her parents.
Patients have not developed clinical symptoms of the disease and will be placed in the isolation unit of the Cantonal Hospital in Zenica.
The competent services will carry out epidemiological treatment of all potential contacts and take the necessary measures, the Zenica-Doboj Canton Crisis Staff said.
They stated that 23 cases of COVID-19 virus infection have been confirmed in the area of the Zenica-Doboj Canton so far, 11 of which are related to the Center for Heart Tuzla cluster, and three people from Zenica were cured and released last week from the Cantonal Hospital in Zenica.
