SARAJEVO, March 30 (FENA) - HDZ BiH/HNS deputies in the House of Peoples of the Federation of BiH Parliament, as their counterparts in the House of Representatives, believe there is no reason for the FBiH Parliament not to be in session in this crisis caused by a coronavirus pandemic.
"It is our human, moral, and ultimately constitutional obligation to do our job in crisis situations, just as many others do. With the mandatory observance of safeguard instructions, we believe it is possible to hold sessions of both houses and to make necessary amendments to the Rules of Procedure on the work already in place that would allow us to have online sessions," stated the HDZ BiH/HNS deputies.
They rejected any possibility of suspending the constitutional authority of the legislative power proposed by some executive officials and stressed that the burden of the crisis caused by the coronavirus pandemic should be assumed by all, and through their work and engagement, contribute to finding the most effective recovery measures.
