SARAJEVO, March 30 (FENA) - Chairman of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Denis Zvizdić, submitted today into the parliamentary procedure, for urgent discussion, a Bill to amend the VAT Law, which allows a temporary decision to be made to extend the deadline for filing VAT returns from the 10th of the month to the last business day of the month.
- This decision can be valid for up to 90 days, with the possibility that the Council of Ministers of BiH can extend it by another ninety days - Zvizdić said in a press release.
He explained that adopting this amendment to the VAT Law would meet one of the key measures required the private sector wanted to be adopted by the state level, that is, by the Council of Ministers of BiH since the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic since that would significantly help them in solving the economic problems and deadlock caused by the adverse effects of the coronavirus pandemic.
