FENA Maja Nikolić

TUZLA, March 30 (FENA) – Coalition against Hate from Tuzla called on citizens to express solidarity and responsibility due to the spread of coronavirus in the Tuzla canton.

“Unfortunately, with the emergence of the first cases of coronavirus infection, we also faced numerous inappropriate reactions of citizens and stigmatization of infected persons, as well as the dissemination of unverified information through social networks,” the Coalition stated.

Therefore, the Coalition against Hate form Tuzla, a network of more than twenty NGOs, condemns all forms of stigmatization and discrimination against infected citizens.

“Such a relationship is extremely unacceptable and detrimental to the whole community. We are all facing the same threat and now is the time to show solidarity and civic responsibility towards the whole problem,” stated OSCE Tuzla that supports Coalition Against Hate project.

They called for discipline and responsible behavior of all.
