SARAJEVO, March 24 (FENA) - The European Union is preparing aid packages for Bosnia and Herzegovina to provide medical equipment and mitigate the effects on the economy.
Head of the European Union Delegation in Bosnia and Herzegovina Ambassador Johann Sattler said this to Prime Minister of the Sarajevo Canton Mario Nenadić during a telephone conversation.
EU Ambassador and Prime Minister of the Sarajevo Canton agreed that it is extremely important to maintain transparency in such life situations and to reach the level of the fight against corruption, when challenges of this kind are particularly emphasized.
Sattler was briefed on the activities taken to implement all the orders issued so far, the stock status and the level of readiness of the Sarajevo Canton to cope with this global challenge.
They also discussed the situation of migrants and other vulnerable groups, as well as all the activities undertaken in this area.
Sattler congratulated the Government of the Sarajevo Canton and the Prime Minister on the measures taken, and it was agreed that information would be exchanged on a daily basis, especially if changes were made to certain circumstances and priorities, the Press Service of the Sarajevo Canton stated.
