BIHAĆ, March 24 (FENA) - A man from Bosanska Krupa is the sixth positive for coronavirus in the Una-Sana Canton (USC), Dr. Irfan Ljubijankić Cantonal Hospital in Bihać confirmed.
“This morning, we sent four samples for testing to the Clinical Center of the University of Sarajevo and one test was positive. It is a man from Bosanska Krupa who was hospitalized in the isolation ward of the Infectious Diseases Department. Otherwise, it will be very difficult to determine how the infection occurred, since the previous persons positive for the coronavirus are from Bihać,” said Hajrudin Havić, director of the Cantonal Hospital in Bihać.
He also stressed that the finding of a fifty-eight-year-old man from Bihać, who died at the hospital yesterday, was negative to coronavirus.
“Unfortunately, the person has passed away and we were afraid of this finding. However, it is negative, so the cause of death will be subsequently determined,” added Havić.
A younger man from Bihać, who was the second positive for a coronavirus in the USC, is still in the isolation ward. When it comes to his health condition there is no deterioration and is currently stable.
