Čović with Plenković and Jandroković on mutual support in pandemic suppression

SARAJEVO, March 24 (FENA) - Speaker of the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiHPA), Dragan Čović, met with Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenković and Croatian Parliament Speaker Gordan Jandroković yesterday. 

The Speaker of the House of Peoples of BiHPA expressed his sympathy for the Croatian people and all citizens of the city of Zagreb affected by the devastating earthquakes and subsequent tremors on March 22 and 23.

Officials discussed joint efforts and mutual support in combating the coronavirus pandemic, cross-border cooperation, EU assistance, as well as additional measures in the area of health priorities, and maintaining economic security.

Croatian Prime Minister and Parliament Speaker stressed positive cooperation and expressed solidarity and readiness to find necessary assistance for Bosnia and Herzegovina, which, like countries around the world, is facing development of a coronavirus pandemic, announced the PR Office of BiH PA.
