SARAJEVO, March 24 (FENA) - The Prevent Group has donated 400 masks to journalists, cameramen, photojournalists and other media professionals in Bosnia and Herzegovina, who report daily on the COVID-19 pandemic.
The BH Journalists Association will distribute today and tomorrow, these masks to a number of media outlets in several BiH cities, and negotiations are ongoing with non-governmental organizations and companies that should provide another 600 masks for media professionals.
A survey conducted by the BH Journalists Association shows that many media outlets do not have protective masks, gloves or disinfectants, despite the fact that their teams are on the field every day, as well as in the studios and newsrooms and are reporting on all the current events related to the coronavirus pandemic.
That is why, once again, the BH Journalists Association appeals to governments, crisis staffs and health ministries across BiH to try to help the media representatives to secure the minimum amounts of protective packages (mask, gloves and disinfectants), for journalists and media workers in local communities, stated the BH Journalists Associations.
