SARAJEVO, March 16 (FENA) - FBiH Railways have taken measures to address the current epidemiological situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the region caused by the outbreak of coronavirus.
According to the recommendations of the Crisis Staff of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and in cooperation with the Institute for Health Protection of Sarajevo Transport Workers, the FBiH Railways have procured additional protective equipment for the railway staff that come into direct contact with passengers and carried out enhanced disinfection of trains, train stations and platforms.
Also, the Railways of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina temporarily suspend inter-entity traffic of express passenger trains operating between Sarajevo - Bihać - Sarajevo and Sarajevo - Banja Luka - Sarajevo, and reduced trains operating between Maglaj - Zenica - Maglaj.
The internal traffic of other express and local passenger trains will be carried out according to the timetable, announced PR Office of the FBiH Railways.
