SARAJEVO, March 13 (FENA) - Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Denis Zvizdić, has called on the BiH Council of Ministers, the BiH Ministry of Civil Affairs, in coordination with other relevant ministries and bodies, in line with the coordinating role of the entity health authorities, to urgently establish a crisis headquarters for the protection and prevention of the spread of coronavirus infection, and to issue clear instructions on the mode of operation, emergency measures and extent of the functioning of all state institutions.
At the same time, he calls on the BiH Council of Ministers, given the wide range of competences of state bodies in the fields of economy, trade, customs, taxes, etc., to immediately set up a crisis headquarters to eliminate the economic consequences caused by the coronavirus pandemic, which would define concrete measures to assist the economy that would help mitigate damages incurred, in cooperation with other competent authorities, and to develop a comprehensive action plan with well-defined activities, bearers and deadlines that would, in accordance with measures implemented in the region and the EU, normalize economic flows as quickly as possible, it was announced from Zvizdić’s office.
