EAST SARAJEVO, March 10 (FENA) - Mićo Mićić was expelled from the Serb Democratic Party (SDS) today, and Bijeljina City Committee of SDS was dissolved.

After the session of the SDS Presidency in East Sarajevo, party president Mirko Šarović said that Mićić was expelled because he did not respect the decision of the party Presidency, which concluded earlier that his agreement with the SNSD was not acceptable to the SDS.

They believe that Mićić, who did not attend the Presidency session, acted contrary to the SDS Statute.

Beyond SDS knowledge, Mićić submitted the agreement to the SNSD Executive Committee, which discussed it, Šarović told reporters.

Mićić's agreement with the SNSD, which was rejected by the SDS Presidency as unacceptable to the party, and it does not exist and will not in any way be revived and presented as the basis for some coalition between the SDS and the SNSD in the upcoming elections.

Šarović said that anyone, if they believe that their rights have been violated and that today's decision needs to be reconsidered, can complain to the SDS Main Board.

He announced that every effort would be made to consolidate the SDS in Bijeljina and that the party would have its candidate for mayor of that local community.
