SARAJEVO, March 10 (FENA) – BiH Council of Ministers Chairman Zoran Tegeltija met with Ambassador of the Republic of Greece to BiH Dimitrios Papandreou in Sarajevo today to discuss bilateral cooperation, as well as current political and economic topics in BiH and the region, such as migrant crisis and coronavirus outbreak.
Speaking on the current situation in Turkey and Greece, as well as in neighboring countries, Chairman Tegeltija expressed concern about the possibility of a significant influx of migrants to BiH.
Tegeltija reiterated that BiH does not have enough security, humanitarian or accommodation facilities, and emphasized that he expects greater involvement of the international community in solving problems of migrant crisis.
During the meeting, the Ambassador of Greece briefed the Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BiH on the current situation and problems faced by Greece when dealing with illegal migrants, the importance of coordination and joint cooperation of all security agencies in the region.
The interlocutors discussed other issues and they jointly assessed that BiH and Greece have good and friendly relations, without open issues, a high level of understanding and an equal attitude on many issues of common interest, especially when it comes to preserving stability in the region, and that there is room for further enhancement of cooperation in areas of mutual interest, the BiH Council of Ministers announced.
