SARAJEVO, March 5 (FENA) - As it was stated earlier, in all the previous contacts on our part, we have made it clear that in order to continue the initiated projects, the decision-making mechanisms of the institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina need to be active. Our position on this issue has been unequivocally conveyed, stated the Turkish Ambassador to Bosnia and Herzegovina Haldun Koç.
With regards to the situation with migrants, the Turkish Ambassador also stressed that the talks with the EU and all other stakeholders are to continue, that this is a global problem and that a common position is needed on this matter.
Ambassador Koç's reaction followed after a statement was released from the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, following today's meeting of the Turkish Ambassador with the BiH Presidency member Milorad Dodik.
On this occasion, Dodik "thanked the Republic of Turkey and its President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan for their determination to continue with the activities of BiH and Turkey on the initiated projects that should not be called into question because of the latest political situation in BiH".
When it comes to the migrant crisis, in the same statement, the BiH Presidency said that "the Turkish Ambassador informed Dodik about the problems with migrants, emphasizing that this problem has been largely caused by the hypocritical and ambivalent policies of the European Union”.
"Turkey has no patience for EU’s hypocrisy," Ambassador Koç said, as it was stated in the BiH Presidency’s press statement earlier today.
