FENA Dušica Stanojević

BANJA LUKA, February 26 (FENA) - The Bosniak Caucus at the RS National Council vetoed the conclusions adopted by members of Serb parties in the RS National Assembly on February 17, following a decision by the BiH Constitutional Court on agricultural land in RS.

In its conclusions, the entity parliament tasks, among other things, RS representatives in the BiH institutions to propose in the BiH Parliamentary Assembly the adoption of a law on the termination of the mandate of foreign judges and the election of domestic judges in the BiH Constitutional Court.

Bosniak Caucus President Mihnet Okić told FENA that at today's session of the Bosniak Caucus they initiated the process of protecting the vital national interest and the "Information regarding the anti-Dayton activities of the Constitutional Court of BiH", which was discussed and adopted at that session of the RS Parliament.

Following the veto of Bosniaks, the disputed conclusions will be forwarded to the Council of Peoples for harmonization, unless there is no consensus in which case it will be forwarded to the Joint Commission of the Council of Peoples and the RS National Assembly.

If there is no agreement even at that level, then the final conclusion on the Bosniak veto will be issued by the RS Constitutional Court.
