Election and Appointment Committee for naming CEC BiH members established

SARAJEVO, February 26 (FENA) - The constituent session of the Election and Appointment Committee of the Central Election Commission (CEC) of BiH was held in Sarajevo today. Borjana Krišto was elected chairwoman of the committee.

The plan of activities in the process of appointing five members of the BiH Central Election Commission was on the agenda, where two Bosniaks, two Serbs and one Croat need to be named in the CEC BiH.

The Election and Appointment Committee consists of seven members, two of whom are appointed by the President of the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council from among the members of the Council (the named persons are Milan Tegeltija and Berina Alihodžić), three by the Administrative Commission of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly from among the members of the Committee from the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly (the named persons are Borjana Krišto, Nebojša Radmanović and Safet Softić) and two are appointed by the CEC BiH President from among the members of the BiH Central Election Commission (the named persons are Irena Hadžiabdić and Stjepan Mikić).
