BANJA LUKA, February 26 (FENA) - Minister of Education and Culture of the entity of Republika Srpska (RS) Natalija Trivić has announced that the Ministry will conduct the PISA testing cycle in 2021, along with other education systems in Bosnia and Herzegovina, but will demand that “the RS education system be visible in the list of international tests and in the results report.”
“The summarized results for the entire country cannot be of use to us as an assessment of success or a basis for future development because the RS has its own educational system and curricula.
Therefore, the Ministry of Education and Culture, together with the Pedagogical Institute, plans for the RS to participate as an independent education system in PISA testing in 2024," said Trivić after today’s meeting with Allyson Algeo, Director of the Public Relations Department of the United States Embassy in BiH.
Trivić confirmed that the RS participates in international projects in accordance with its constitutional and legal competences in the field of education, stated the RS Ministry of Education and Culture.
