FENA Alma Zukanović

SARAJEVO, February 25 (FENA) - Ambassador of the Republic of Croatia in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Ivan Sabolić visited the Federal News Agency (FENA) today where he met with General Manager of the Agency, Elmir Huremović and talked about the importance of media in democratic society and particularly the role of FENA.

General Manager Huremović pointed out that this visit is very important for him, because Croatia is BiH's first neighbor.

“There are no language barriers among us, so in the context of media, the connection is stronger than with most other countries,” said Huremović.

The interlocutors discussed the work of FENA, its priorities and plans and they also emphasized the cooperation with the Croatian News Agency (HINA), as FENA's partner agency.

The Croatian Ambassador and the General Manager of FENA expressed satisfaction that FENA and the Embassy have established formal cooperation earlier this year.

The Republic of Croatia is currently holding the EU Council Presidency.
