SARAJEVO, February 24 (FENA) - BiH Foreign Trade Chamber (BiH FTC), in cooperation with the Council of Saudi Chambers and the BiH-Saudi Arabian Business Council, is organizing a business visit for BiH businessmen to Saudi Arabia, given the importance of their market and the fact that the country entered the process of diversification and strengthening of non-oil sectors.

Last year we had more than 85 million KM of foreign trade with Saudi Arabia, of which 1.4 million were imports, while we exported about 83.7 million KM.

It is the interest of the BiH FTC and the BiH business community to enter the Saudi Arabian market more strongly, as they believe that the two countries have far greater potential for cooperation, and that the Saudi market represents a chance for BiH.

As part of a business visit to Riyadh in mid-April this year (April 14-17), it is planned to hold a Business Forum and another session of the BiH-Saudi Arabian Business Council. The focus will be on enhancing the export of BiH companies to the Saudi Arabian market, making arrangements for transfer of know-how technology to Saudi Arabia companies, and presenting investment projects for which BiH companies are seeking investors.

The BiH delegation will include representatives from companies in the sectors of military industry, metal processing and electrical industry, food industry, furniture, engineering services and energy, as well as pharmacy, IT and tourism.

The visit will include Business Forum, B2B meetings between businessmen of the two countries, a second session of the BiH-Saudi Arabian Business Council, as well as visits to institutions, business zones and individual companies in accordance with the interests of members of the BiH business delegation.

BiH Foreign Trade Chamber invited BiH businessmen to this visit, saying that it represents an exceptional opportunity to get acquainted with the market of this country, as well as the opportunity to establish new contacts and strengthen economic cooperation. Deadline for submitting applications to the Chamber is February 28.
