BANJA LUKA, February 18 (FENA) - Republika Srpska (RS) Prime Minister Radovan Višković announced today that he will contact the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina to form a working body or commission "for defining inter-entity boundary line" between two BiH entities, the Republika Srpska and Federation of BiH.
"No one in BiH should be afraid of this," Višković told reporters in Banja Luka.
He said that there is an inter-entity boundary line between the two entities under the Constitution and law and no one can say whether it is obeyed or not, or delete it.
Višković said that the RS Government will act in accordance with the conclusion adopted by the RS National Assembly last night, which is tasked with continuing the earlier negotiations with the Government of the Federation of BiH with the aim of "defining the inter-entity boundary line" between the Republika Srpska and the Federation of BiH, and in accordance with the Annex 2 of the General Framework Agreement for Peace in BiH.
"We also had a commission in the past that worked on this issue, but there was a deadlock for some reasons and now we just want professional and qualified personnel to work on it," he said.
RS Prime Minister said that it is necessary to determine how far the RS competences reach, and where they are taken over by the Federation of BiH and vice versa for the benefit of citizens, and in order to avoid the problems they have.
"All this does not mean that one has bad intention, as it is intended to be interpreted, but the inter-entity boundary line is a constitutional category, which exists, but in some parts it is not precisely defined and citizens in these parts have problems in exercising their right," Višković said.
