Average net salary in December 2019 was 2.5 percent higher than a year earlier

SARAJEVO, February 17 (FENA) - The average net monthly salary in BiH in December last year was 951 KM, and was nominally higher by five percent compared to November of the same year, and higher by 2.5 percent compared to December 2018.

The lowest average net salary of 580 KM was in the provision of accommodation and food preparation and services, in the administrative and support activities it amounted to 641 KM, while the average net salary in the construction industry was 644 KM, according to the BiH Statistics Agency.

In financial and insurance activities, the average net salary in December last year amounted to KM 1,664, in the production and supply of electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning 1,456 KM, while the average net salary in the information and communication sector was 1,408 KM.
