SARAJEVO, February 16 (FENA) - Milorad Dodik's threats of secession, expressed once again in Belgrade in the presence of the patriarch of the Serbian Orthodox Church SPC and the president of Serbia, have once again went on with condoning and without clear and unambiguous refrain from the official Belgrade when it comes to this political behavior targeted against Bosnia and Herzegovina, which in fact, says quite a lot, stated the Party of Democratic Action in its reaction to the meeting in Belgrade.
SDA: We expect Vučić to unequivocally refrain from Dodik's actions
The SDA points out that if Serbia, as its president claims, truly respects the Dayton Peace Agreement, the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Bosnia and Herzegovina, then it is high time for Vučić to move from words into action.
"This implies concrete, clear and unambiguous denial of support for Dodik's policies, which is not only a threat to Bosnia and Herzegovina, but also to peace and stability throughout the region, and not to continue, without any basis, insisting on the narrative of "the Serbs being the endangered ones and those who suffer injustice of the entire world". Such a narrative was also present in the 1990s and we all know what was the result of it back then," the statement said.
The SDA points out that "we will never agree to Dodik's ultimatums. Instead of trying to dominate with blackmail in order to achieve his political goals, Dodik should respect the Dayton Peace Agreement, the Constitution of BiH and unblock the state institutions."
"The crisis that he has caused again will cause the most damage to him and the RS entity," the SDA stated in a press release.
