BANJA LUKA, February 14 (FENA) - A special session of the Republika Srpska National Assembly (RSNA), at the request of RS President Željka Cvijanović, regarding the decisions of the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, will be held in Banja Luka on Monday, February 17.
Cvijanović suggested only one item on the agenda of the session and that is "Information regarding the anti-Dayton activities of the Constitutional Court of BiH".
RSNA President Nedeljko Čubrilović said today, after a session of the parliamentary collegium, that the decision of the Constitutional Court of BiH on unconstitutional Article 53 of the Law on Agricultural Land was the reason of scheduling the special session.
The court decision has not yet been submitted to the entity parliament.
“I was informed about the decision of the Constitutional Court from the statement of the Court and media. The Constitutional Court of BiH has repeatedly gone beyond the scope of law,” said Čubrilović, citing "that this is an anti-Dayton and anti-constitutional action of that court" and recalled that the ownership issue is regulated in the entities.
“The decision of the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina on the Law on Agricultural Land in RS is final and binding, and all those who oppose and prevent its implementation are opposed to the Constitution and the Dayton Peace Agreement,” warned the RS Vice President Ramiz Salkić.
