Tegeltija and Hartmann discuss expanding cooperation between BiH and Austria

SARAJEVO, February 13 (FENA) - The BiH Council of Ministers Chairman Zoran Tegeltija received Ambassador of the Republic of Austria to BiH, Ulrike Hartmann in her inaugural visit today.

The two officials discussed the cooperation so far between BiH and Austria and the possibilities for its expansion, where a special emphasis is placed on BiH's accession to the EU, the BiH Council of Ministers said.

Tegeltija thanked the Austrian Government for assistance and donations to BiH citizens over the past years, as well as support for BiH's economic processes and European integration process.

He hopes that in the coming period Austria would continue to work towards ensuring the feasibility of EU enlargement to Southeast European countries within the framework of the new EU enlargement methodology.

Tegeltija emphasized that BiH and Austria have developed cooperation in different fields, and expressed readiness to use good relations for the concrete projects in order to expand economic cooperation in the future.

They jointly assessed that the relations between BiH and Austria are friendly and good, and that there is significant room for deepening of partnership and improving economic cooperation between the two countries. The interlocutors also exchanged views on current political topics in BiH and the region.
