SARAJEVO, February 11 (FENA) - BiH Presidency Chairman Željko Komšić received credentials from the newly appointed resident Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Brazil to BiH, Lineu Pupo De Paula.
Chairman Komšić expressed his expectations that good political relations between Bosnia and Herzegovina and Brazil would continue and that they would have a positive effect on improving cooperation, especially in the economic segment.
He stressed that Brazil is a growing global political and economic force with enormous human and economic potential. He expressed his gratitude to Brazil for its support to Bosnia and Herzegovina so far and for confirming its interest in enhancing cooperation in all areas of mutual interest in all bilateral meetings so far, as well as on the sidelines of international meetings.
They also discussed activities of the Brazilian Embassy in Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as the possibility of opening a diplomatic and consular mission of Bosnia and Herzegovina in South America, which would contribute to the promotion of all forms of cooperation, including economic cooperation.
Ambassador Lineu Pupo De Paula said he is privileged to be appointed as Brazil's Ambassador to Bosnia and Herzegovina and expressed his readiness to enhance relations between the two countries in all fields, the BiH Presidency stated.
