SARAJEVO, February 10 (FENA) - Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH, Denis Zvizdić and Director of the FBiH Motorways, Adnan Terzić, discussed today the current and future dynamics of the construction of the Vc Corridor.
They jointly stated that the motorway on the Vc Corridor as part of the pan-European corridor that connects BiH with Central Europe is the most important infrastructure project that will significantly improve BiH's economic development and competitiveness.
The two expressed content with the involvement of state institutions so far in cooperation with international financial institutions, the efficient provision of the necessary financial resources, and their final ratification.
This has enabled works on the construction of a number of road sections, seven of which are in the construction phase, while four are in the final phase of preparation for the commencement of works, which indicates the commitment of the FBiH Motorways to the realization of the strategic goal of construction of the motorway on the Vc Corridor.
Zvizdić and Terzić also highlighted the importance of continuing the construction of the northbound motorway, especially on the section from Poprikuše to Medakovo, which would significantly increase the level of overall operational functionality of the motorway.
Zvizdić expressed full commitment to the importance of infrastructure construction, especially the Vc Corridor, as well as the need for faster ratification of all financial agreements relating to the overall construction of the motorway, stated the BiH PA press service.
