Secretary-General of Muslim World League announces help for museum in Potočari

SARAJEVO, February 10 (FENA) - BiH Presidency member Šefik Džaferović met with Secretary-General of the Muslim World League Mohammed Abdul Karim Al-Isa, today in Sarajevo, and expressed hope that Bosnia and Herzegovina's current political situation relations between the Islamic Community in BiH and the Muslim World League will be further enhanced. 

The Secretary-General of the League announced assistance for the museum within the Srebrenica-Potočari Memorial Center. He stressed the need for cooperation between different nations in the Balkans, which will ensure sustainable peace and prosperity.

The Muslim World League is committed to strengthening friendship and cooperation, and to establishing peace globally to ensure coexistence and a better future throughout the world.

The Secretary-General expressed satisfaction with the visit and cooperation with Bosnia and Herzegovina, which, in the future, will be strengthened with visits at all levels.

The interlocutors are convinced that multiethnicity in BiH will serve as a good example of cooperation and mutual respect, applicable globally.

Džaferović expressed appreciation for the assistance and humanitarian activities of the Muslim World League so far, especially when it comes to promoting civilizational values and spreading culture of dialogue, and emphasized the significant role it plays in supporting minorities.

He said that Muslims in Bosnia and Herzegovina are proud of the Islamic Community in BiH and its role in preserving faith, tradition and cooperation with representatives of other confessions.

On behalf of BiH Presidency Chairman Željko Komšić, the meeting was attended by his Advisor Almir Zulić, while on behalf of Serb Presidency member Milorad Dodik, the meeting was attended by his Advisor Dragoljub Reljić, the BiH Presidency stated.
