Chairman Tegeltija meets with Ambassador of Japan Sakamoto

SARAJEVO, February 10 (FENA) - BiH Council of Ministers Chairman Zoran Tegeltija met with Ambassador of Japan to BiH Hideyuki Sakamoto in Sarajevo today.

Chairman Tegeltija briefed Ambassador Sakamoto on the planned activities of the Council of Ministers in the coming period, and the interlocutors exchanged views on current political and economic topics in BiH.

BiH Council of Ministers Chairman stressed the commitment of the new convocation of Council of Ministers to create a stimulating economic and business environment in BiH with the aim of attracting both domestic and foreign investments, and invited Japanese investors to invest in BiH.

The interlocutors discussed cooperation between BiH and Japan and the possibilities for its enhancement. They assessed that BiH-Japan relations are friendly and good, but there is room for deepening partnerships and enhancing economic cooperation between the two countries.

On this occasion, Chairman Tegeltija thanked for the assistance and donations that the Government of Japan and its people have provided to BiH citizens over the past years, and stressed the importance of deepening BiH-Japan relations in light of Japan's Western Balkans initiative, announced the BiH Council of Ministers.
