Djapo-Sinanoglu: United Nations has always been one of BiH's strategic partners

SARAJEVO, February 7 (FENA) - FBiH Minister of the Environment and Tourism, Edita Djapo, received United Nations Resident Coordinator for Bosnia and Herzegovina Sezin Sinanoglu in a farewell visit, and thanked her for good institutional cooperation and advancing partnerships between BiH and the United Nations.

Sinanoglu said that although her mandate has expired, she is reluctant to leave Bosnia and Herzegovina, adding that despite all the problems, our country has been achieving positive results. 

"The more you do, the more funds will come," Sinanoglu said.

Minister Djapo emphasized that the United Nations has always been one of the strategic partners of Bosnia and Herzegovina and support in the implementation of important projects, especially in the fields of environment and tourism. 

“We are aware that large commitments and projects in this area are still awaiting our country, for which we will need UN assistance,” said Djapo.

She added that she expects the practice of good cooperation and partnership to be continued and intensified in the interest of BiH citizens, wishing Sinanoglu success in her future career and projects, the FBiH Ministry of Environment and Tourism announced.
