SARAJEVO, February 3 (FENA) - At today's session in Sarajevo, the BiH Presidency decided to participate in the Summit of the People's Republic of China Initiative and 17 Central and Eastern European countries, and took note of the Information on the Cooperation Initiative Agenda of China and 17 Central and Eastern European countries for the period from 2021 to 2025.
The BiH Presidency accepted the invitation of United Nations Secretary-General Antoine Guterres to attend the second UN Global Conference on Sustainable Transport and the invitation to attend the Summit of Leaders to mark the 20th anniversary of the UN Global Compact.
The BiH Presidency will also invite French President Emmanuel Macron to pay an official visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The BiH Presidency has adopted the Decision on acceptance of the Financing Agreement for Corridor Vc – the central part, between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the European Investment Bank.
Furthermore, the Memorandum of Understanding has been approved between the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Albania, the Ministry of Defense of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of North Macedonia, the Ministry of Defense of Montenegro, the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Serbia and the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Slovenia on the work of the Balkan Medical Forces.
The Presidency also adopted the Decision to initiate the negotiation procedure with a view to concluding the Annex to the Agreement between the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Government of Montenegro on conducting border checks at joint border crossings.
The BiH Presidency has accepted the invitation to participate in the annual session of the Crans Montana Forum on Africa and the South - South Cooperation, to be held in Morocco from 18 to 21 March 2020.
In addition to this, the Presidency ratified 28 agreements, treaties and amendments, the BiH Presidency stated.
