SARAJEVO, January 29 (FENA) - Deputy Chair of the BIH Council of Ministers and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bisera Turković, received Ambassador of Hungary to BiH Krisztián Pós today.
Turković emphasized that BiH and Hungary have political relations without open issues, as well as intensive bilateral cooperation in many areas. She thanked Hungary for its consistent support in BiH's European and Euro-Atlantic integration processes.
Ambassador Pósa stressed that Hungary views BiH as an important neighbor, and that it is very interested in BiH's progress on the European and Euro-Atlantic path, as well as on stability and security of BiH and the entire region. He stressed that security was also important in order to strengthen trade ties and emphasized satisfaction with the level of trade between the two countries.
Turković also emphasized the importance of the Hungarian Embassy's role in BiH as a contact - NATO Embassy for the period 2019-2020. She stressed that the EU and NATO are strategic priorities of BiH's foreign policy and it is very important to have the support of friendly countries like Hungary, which understand the situation in the region.
Hungarian Ambassador stressed that his country will continue with active support of BiH and remains open to any form of assistance to BiH, and Turković also invited Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjárt to visit Bosnia and Herzegovina as soon as possible, the BiH Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated.
