SARAJEVO, January 29 (FENA) – BiH Presidency member Šefik Džaferović received Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to BiH Haldun Koç today to discuss the current situation in both countries, bilateral cooperation and Turkey's support to BiH in EU and NATO integration processes.
The interlocutors expressed satisfaction about the intensification of economic cooperation facilitated by the Free Trade Agreement between Bosnia and Herzegovina and Turkey. This is especially important for capacity development that will ensure the continued export of meat from BiH to Turkey.
The topic of discussion was the acceleration of procedures and preparatory work for the start of construction of the Sarajevo-Belgrade motorway in the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Džaferović once again expressed his deepest sympathy for Turkish people and the families of the victims of the earthquake that hit Turkey, the BiH Presidency stated.
