SARAJEVO, January 29 (FENA) - Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bisera Turković received today Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany Margret Maria Uebber in an inaugural visit.
The two officials assessed the bilateral relations between BiH and Germany as friendly and without outstanding questions.
Turković thanked the ambassador for the continued support and assistance of the Federal Republic of Germany to Bosnia and Herzegovina in the implementation of key reforms in line with the Reform Agenda, and the continuation of the EU path.
Uebber congratulated Turković on the appointment as BiH Foreign Minister and wished her success in her term in office.
She stressed that Germany strongly supports the European perspective of Bosnia and Herzegovina and that it would continue to support the reform processes in the country.
The meeting was also a chance to touch upon the high-level conference of the Franco-German Initiative for the Comprehensive Control of Small Arms and Light Weapons in the Western Balkans (SALW), to be held in Berlin at the end of January.
The conference will also be attended by Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers and Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bisera Turković, stated the BiH MFA.
