SARAJEVO, January 29 (FENA) - BiH Ambassador to Austria, Kemal Kozarić, met with Federal Chancellor of Austria Sebastian Kurz and Foreign Minister Alexander Schallenberg.
The meeting took place during a reception for ambassadors accredited to the Republic of Austria organized by the Federal Government of the Republic of Austria in Vienna on January 27 this year, the BiH Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated.
During his talks with Chancellor Kurz, Ambassador Kozarić emphasized the importance of cooperation between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republic of Austria in economic, political and cultural terms, and invited Chancellor Kurz to visit BiH in the coming period.
Chancellor Kurz expressed satisfaction with excellent relations between the two countries and stressed that the Republic of Austria would continue to provide strong support to Bosnia and Herzegovina on its path towards EU membership.
Kurz stressed that the new Austrian Federal Government, which took office on January 7, 2020, would pursue a policy based on Austrian values and interests, noting that Austria would continue to support the Western Balkan countries on the road to European integration and stressed the importance of the reforms that should be implemented during this process.
