SARAJEVO, January 28 (FENA) - A joint session of the governments of the Federation of BiH and RS will be held in Sarajevo on Wednesday.
The entity governments will try to reach a final agreement on the so-called debt settlement, that is, on the allocation of VAT revenues, the daily newspaper ‘Dnevni avaz’ reports.
This item on the agenda, which refers to the establishment of coefficients and the distribution of indirect tax revenues for previous years, was removed from the agenda of yesterday's session of the Board of Directors of the Indirect Taxation Authority held in Mostar.
The explanation stated that a meeting of the entity governments was agreed to find solutions to the final settlement.
The method of distributing collected VAT has been the subject of a lengthy dispute, and the entities have filed lawsuits against each other.
However, the withdrawal of the lawsuits was announced at a meeting of the entity prime ministers, Fadil Novalić and Radovan Višković, with Council of Ministers Chairman Zoran Tegeltija, held late last year.
At tomorrow's joint session, Novalić and Višković, together with the ministers, will also discuss the unblocking of the work of Elektroprenos BiH (TRANSCO), which has 180 million KM under blockade.
