SARAJEVO, January 27 (FENA) - BiH Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations, Staša Košarac, received today US Ambassador to BiH Eric Nelson in Sarajevo and discussed political and economic opportunities in BiH.
Košarac informed Ambassador Nelson of the primary goals in the work of the BiH Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations, and said it would coordinate on the defined policies of the Entities and the Brčko District, in accordance with constitutional and legal competencies.
The interlocutors exchanged views on the development of the energy sector, agriculture and tourism, as well as policies that need to be implemented in order to protect the environment.
The two officials also discussed foreign trade between the two countries. The meeting highlighted the importance of foreign investments and stressed the need to work to create conditions for US investments in BiH.
The focus of the talks was also on fulfilling BiH's obligation to the World Trade Organization from the aspect of adopting a decision of the quality on liquid petroleum gas, the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of BiH announced.
