Indonesian Ambassador to BiH visits Institute for Health and Food Safety

ZENICA, January 27 (FENA) - Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to Bosnia and Herzegovina Amelia Achmad Yani visited the Institute for Health and Food Safety Zenica (INZ) today and met with Director of the Institute Senad Huseinagić and his associates.  

Ambassador Yani visited INZ at the suggestion of the director of the Bosnian National Theater, Hazim Begagić, who hosted an Indonesian delegation.

Bosnian National Theater and INZ have been collaborating for almost a decade, and together they have produced three plays that addressed serious health-education-preventive topics for the youth.

Indonesian Ambassador was interested in the possibility of cooperation between Indonesian manufacturers and exporters, doctors and medical experts with colleagues from INZ and Zenica, as well as potential collaborative research, sharing of experience, knowledge and mutual assistance.

INZ leaders were invited to attend the presentation of Indonesian cultural and economic capacities during March and April in Zenica and Sarajevo, as well as to identify possible ways of cooperation.

Also, the possibility of establishing cooperation between agricultural and production capacities with scientific research and the sector of food and food safety control was opened.
