SARAJEVO, January 27 (FENA) - Representatives of the US Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights Foundation held the first part of a two-day human rights seminar in Sarajevo today as part of the “Speak Truth to Power” program.
The seminar is primarily intended for pupils and students, as well as their professors from all over Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The “Speak Truth to Power” program director Karen Robinson hopes the seminar will make at least a modest contribution to improving the situation in BiH, which is still a society recovering from a major conflict.
"We know it takes a long time, but we believe that human rights play an important role in building a better society for all its members," Robinson said.
The seminar was organized in cooperation with the Foundation of the Society of Shared Values from Sarajevo.
