BANJA LUKA, January 24 (FENA) - President of the Socialist Party (SP), Petar Đokić has decided to expel Maksim Skoko and Goran Selak from the party, and will also consider dismissing the Banja Luka City Board.

Skoko and Selak are MPs of the Socialist Party in the RS National Assembly.

Đokić said that former Minister of Labor and Veteran Affairs Milenko Savanović has also been expelled from the party “because he damaged the party’s reputation.”

The Socialist Party president claims he has the support of most of the party’s local boards and does not expect him to be sacked from his ministerial position, as demanded by Skoko, Selak and three other deputies.

He dismissed as unfounded the accusations of his five deputies, who yesterday demanded his dismissal from the position of the RS Minister of Energy and Mining and the party leader.

“I couldn't accept for certain things to be done the way they expected. The requests were personal in nature and I could not accept them,” Đokić said at a news conference in Banja Luka.
