BANJA LUKA, January 24 (FENA) - Banja Luka Mayor Igor Radojičić specified today that the City has not filed a lawsuit against the “Justice for David” group, or against three of its members, but the formal organizers of the protest on December 30, 2018, because of which, as he says “three New Year's concerts were canceled.”
The City of Banja Luka is asking for compensatory damages in the amount of 178,445.00 KM, “that the city has suffered after being prevented to organize the New Year celebration.”
The persons against whom the lawsuit has been filed are Pavle Knežević, Bojana Gajanović and Anja Grubačić, who were the ones that filed a request for the holding of a protest for which the city authorities claimed caused millions in damages.
Radojičić believes these individuals have ties with the PDP political party and not ‘Justice for David’ group.
“I have no information that these three individuals are members of the 'Justice for David' group. They were the formal organizers of the protest on December 30, 2018.
I believe they are connected with the PDP and not with the said group, at least, they declared themselves that way. They are being sued for the actual damage they caused to the City because this was the amount invested by the sponsors, and what the City could have earned for the concerts that were not held,” Radojičić told reporters in Banja Luka.
