SARAJEVO, January 23 (FENA) - Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republic of France will soon sign two interstate agreements that will further enhance cooperation between the two countries in the field of security.

This was emphasized today at the meeting between Minister of Security of Bosnia and Herzegovina Fahrudin Radončić and Ambassador of the Republic of France to BiH Guillaume Rousson.

It is an agreement to strengthen the fight against illegal wapons trafficking, which also envisages the formation of a joint team to work on the continuous prevention and fight against these offenses.

Also, signing of an Agreement on donation of an automated ballistic identification system is expected to assist BiH forensic agencies in detecting and identifying weapons.

Radončić and Rousson also discussed the migrant crisis in BiH and BiH's new security approach to addressing this issue, as well as the return of BiH citizens who have fought as foreign fighters in Syria and the risks it entails.

The two officials assessed that establishing a point of contact in BiH for cooperation with EUROPOL is also very important, and Radončić stressed that this is a top priority in the work of the BiH Ministry of Security in the coming period, the BiH Ministry of Security stated.
