Duvnjak: I expect political agreement on constituting FBiH House of Peoples

FENA Senka Trgovčević

SARAJEVO, January 20 (FENA) - Deputies of the House of Peoples of the Federation of BiH Parliament will resume their session tomorrow, adjourned on December 19, when they should vote on the Federation of BiH's responsibilities for projects "Energy Efficiency - Additional Financing", "Public Transport Sarajevo" and "Živinice Regional Solid Waste Landfill".

In the meantime, the Collegium of the House of Peoples will meet to discuss current issues concerning the work of the House itself.

"The process of constituting the House of Peoples has not been completed since February 20, which implies the election and appointment of permanent working bodies, commissions and committees, as well as the appointment of vice-president from the Serb caucus. In this regard, I expect a political agreement soon," said Jasmin Duvnjak, president of the Bosniak caucus, for FENA.

He also expects the Collegium to set a date for the next regular session.

"It should be held within the next 15 days. I think it is important for this session to complete the process of constituting the House of Peoples and to consider all the acts that have come to us from the FBiH Government or that have already been adopted in the House of Representatives," Duvnjak said.
