Čović attends audience with the Holy Father Pope Francis in Vatican

VATICAN, January 22 (FENA) - Speaker of the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Dragan Čović, attended an audience with the Holy Father Pope Francis in the Vatican today.

He spoke with the Holy Father Pope Francis and His Eminence Cardinal Pietro Parolin, Secretary of State of the Holy See.

During the meeting, they discussed the current situation in BiH, the position of the Croat people and the implementation of the Basic Agreement of BiH with the Holy See.

As it is stated from Čović's office, the meeting expressed support for the Holy See for preservation of equality of the Croat people in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

President Čović thanked the Holy See for expressing support for Bosnia and Herzegovina and the position of the Croat people.
