SARAJEVO, January 21 (FENA) - BiH Deputy Defense Minister Mirko Okolić received today EUFOR Commander, Major General Reinhard Trischak to discuss continuation and ways of enhancing cooperation.
Deputy Minister Okolić briefed General Trischak on the guidelines and principles of the BiH Defense Ministry’s work in the future, expressing his expectations for continued cooperation with EUFOR, which plays an important role in the implementation of the General Framework Agreement for Peace.
He emphasized that the compromise policy, both in BiH and BiH Ministry of Defense, plays a key role in the continuation of the reform process, and example of this is an agreement reached at the level of the BiH Presidency.
EUFOR Commander Major General Reinhard Trischak highlighted the successful cooperation with the BiH Armed Forces and requested support for activities planned by EUFOR this year.
