SARAJEVO, January 21 (FENA) - The foreign trade deficit of Bosnia and Herzegovina last year amounted to eight billion and six million KM last year, and the import-export ratio was 58.9 percent.
The BiH Agency for Statistics announced that in 2019, BiH achieved exports worth KM 11 billion and KM 492 million, which is 3.4 percent less than in 2018, while imports amounted to KM 19 billion and KM 498 million and increased by 1.2 percent.
Exports to CEFTA countries amounted to KM 1 billion and KM 904 million last year, which is less by 2.3 percent than in 2018, while imports amounted KM 2 billion and KM 420 million, which is more by 3.9 percent.
The import-export ratio with CEFTA countries was 78.7 percent.
Exports to the EU countries amounted to KM 8 billion and KM 388 million, which is less by 3.4 percent than in 2018, while imports amounted to KM 12 billion and KM 80 million, which is more by 3.6 percent.
The import-export ratio with EU countries was 69.4 percent.
