The banks headquartered in FBiH issued 1.5 billion KM in loans in RS

BANJA LUKA, January 20 (FENA) - The banks based in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina have issued loans totaling at 1.5 billion KM in the entity of Republika Srpska (RS).

The data from the RS Banking Agency for the first nine months of last year show that this amount makes up 23 percent of total loans issued in RS with a growth rate of 11 percent since the end of 2018.

Organizational units of the banks based in the Federation of BiH in the entity of RS collected deposits totaling at 929.5 million KM, or 13.6 percent of total deposits collected in that BiH entity, with a growth rate of 21 percent.

The banks with based in the Federation of BiH have 52 organizational units in RS, while three banks with headquarters in  RS have 25 organizational units operating in the Federation of BiH.

These banks issued 253.4 million KM in loans in FBiH with a growth rate of nine percent compared to the end of 2018 and collected 331.6 million KM in deposits, which is an increase by eight percent compared to the end of 2018, it is stated in the report of the RS Banking Agency.
