SARAJEVO, January 16 (FENA) - BiH Minister of Security Fahrudin Radončić met with Ambassador of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to BiH Matthew Field today and discussed the current situation in BiH.
The primary focus was on combating terrorism and the return of foreign fighters from the Syrian battlefields, smuggling and trafficking, illegal financial transactions, as well as the migrant crisis and its humanitarian and security challenges. The importance of implementing the Berlin Process Security commitments was emphasized.
Radončić and Field also emphasized the importance of better coordination in managing the migrant crisis in BiH.
The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland has shown great interest in providing expert assistance to security agencies and the BiH Prosecutor's Office in fight against terrorism and organized crime, the BiH Ministry of Security stated.
