SARAJEVO, January 10 (FENA) - A group of migrants, who have been staying at the Ušivak reception center near Hadžići, have been moved to the Blažuj barracks, and a total of 170 migrants will be transferred there during the day.

These are migrants who were staying in Vučjak, a makeshift camp near Bihać, before they were transported to Ušivak.

Dražen Rozić of the International Organization for Migration (IOM) told reporters that up to 200 migrants would be relocated during next week.

“The capacities in Blažuj are not fully prepared but all the work will be finished by January 25. We are working to set up the center bit by bit and to provide accommodation for as many people as possible during this cold winter period,” said Rozić.

He pointed out that one hundred housing containers have been set up in Blažuj. Also, most of the masonry work on 18 facilities has been completed.

“We are also working on setting up a kitchen and a living room. We have problems with electricity and we will work on it next week,” said Rozić, adding that 413 migrants in total are accommodated in Blažuj, believing that the maximum capacity could be around 1,200 people.

Rozić also noted that there are fewer new migrants in Bosnia and Herzegovina due to the winter period, but that we should be prepared for spring.
