SREBRENICA, January 9 (FENA) - A panel was held today in Srebrenica on the topic "Future of Srebrenica", at which a declaration was signed under which the pro-Bosnian parties have committed itself to unite in the upcoming local elections in this municipality.
The aim is, through joint action in the next local elections, for Srebrenica to have a mayor who is not a genocide denier.
The panel was attended by the BiH Presidency Member Šefik Dzaferović, FBiH Minister of Displaced Persons and Refugees Edin Ramić, Deputy Mayor of Srebrenica Hamdija Fejzić, and numerous citizens of Srebrenica.
“We want to share these fateful days with the Srebrenica residents and send a clear message that this group of people here, who returned to Srebrenica, cannot bear the burden of fighting the system of the RS entity alone. We all need to get involved and make our contribution to bring Srebrenica back to pro-Bosnian policies in 2020, that is, a policy that will not deny the Srebrenica genocide,” said the SDA Municipal Board Chairman in Srebrenica, Alija Tabakovic, who was the organizer of the event.
