Embassy of Iran opens book of condolence over the death of General Soleimani

SARAJEVO, January 7 (FENA) - The Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Bosnia and Herzegovina in Sarajevo opened this morning a book of condolence after the killing of General Qasem Soleimani, an Iranian major general in the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and commander of its Quds Force.

The book of condolence is open until 5 pm at the premises of the Embassy in Sarajevo.

Qasem Soleimani, head of the Quds force, the branch of the Revolutionary Guard Corps, was killed in the US drone attack on January 3, while leaving Baghdad airport.

He was born in Iran in 1957 and joined the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps in 1979.
